How do we choose the sponsorships?
It is difficult to choose whom to sponsor merely for economic reasons. There are plenty of aspects to take into consideration and we basically focus on three of them: the effort, the sea and the society. In Peixes Vimar, we always keep an eye out to decide the initiatives on which we can collaborate and to what extent. We currently have three projects underway.
Yes, football too! We currently sponsor a football-7 team and a football-11 team in the local league of Vigo.
Our favorite oarsmen are the members of the Tirán rowing club. We have collaborated with them, stroke after stroke, since 2012.
Sechu is a mountain climber, member of the Montañeros Celtas club, who faces the challenge of climbing a new eight-thousander: the Shisha Pangma.
Working in the Port of Vigo, with our work schedules, means a great effort; that is why we can identify and empathize with those who do the same work.
We owe our activities to the sea and we owe all our admiration to the people who suffer and strive in it.
Understanding our company without the people who make it up and all our environment would not be realistic or fair.
